Registered Social Worker
Ryan Cohoe, He/Him
Ryan is a registered social worker with over 20 years of experience in youth justice, forensic mental health, and residential care. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with first responders, justice system-involved individuals, residents, and fellow professionals, developing a nuanced understanding of how adversity manifests across diverse lives and contexts.
These experiences shape the steady, grounded presence he brings to therapy. Ryan’s approach is warm, honest and focused on connection rather than perfection. He meets clients at their pace and creates space for their stories, helping them work through stress, anger, past wounds, or a desire for change.
Ryan works with both youth and adults, using a trauma-informed and client-centred approach. He draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help clients better understand their experiences, develop practical ways forward, and create meaningful change.
